Ease Diabetic Nerve Pain with a High-Potency Multivitamin

Researchers from Iran studied 75 people with type 2 diabetes and diabetic neuropathy (diabetic damage to nerves, causing localized pain, often in the hands or feet). Some of the diabetics took a high potency multivitamin-mineral supplement. (The nutritional components in the supplement are also present in the Energy Revitalization System vitamin powder.) Others took a placebo. After four months, those taking the nutrients had a decrease in nerve pain of more than 80%! This study supports what we have seen clinically for many years.

In addition, lipoic acid (300 mg 2x day) and acetyl L-carnitine (2,000-3,000 mg a day) have also been shown to help diabetes nerve pain, though it can take months to see the full benefit as the nerves heal. For more on diabetes, see Treating Diabetes Naturally.
