Fish Oil May Prevent Type 1 Diabetes

In a large study, researchers looked at the diets of 1,770 young children at high risk of developing Type I diabetes. They found that a high dietary intake of omega-3 fatty acids (fish oils) lowered the children's chances of developing the condition by around 55 percent.
