End Fatigue
Find a Practitioner

Finding a practitioner who knows how to effectively treat Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia can be difficult, as this field requires specialized training that most physicians have never received. CFS/FM-trained practitioners know how to think outside the box. They may, for instance, be able to treat your thyroid despite otherwise "normal" values. They can also assess your symptoms for a myriad of other "cutting edge" traditional and complimentary medicine issues that a more conservative doctor may not address.
The following sections provide two resources that may help you locate a CFS/FM specialist near you.
Fibromyalgia and Fatigue Centers
Dr. Teitelbaum is the Medical Director of the Fibromyalgia and Fatigue Centers (FFC's), a national network of medical offices that specialize in treating patients with CFS/FM using Dr. T's proven treatment protocols. Each FFC is staffed with a team of highly trained physicians who can provide you the very latest in cutting edge treatment for these illnesses.
The following is the current list of FFC locations. Click a location to obtain the phone number and directions for the FFC in that city.

Other Worldwide Practitioners Trained In Dr. T's Methods
Many physicians have received Dr. T's training—either by attending his training seminars or by obtaining his Practitioner Workshop CD series. These practitioners can address CFS/FM using Dr. T's SHINE protocol. If you find a physician through our referral list, we recommend that you call their office to ask questions specific to your treatment interests. We also encourage you to meet with the practitioner in person to discuss your particular concerns before committing to work together so that you are sure the practitioner is a comfortable fit for you.

If you can't find a practitioner in your area who utilizes Dr. T's protocol, try visiting The Holistic Board of Medicine website to see if you can find a practitioner that utilizes both traditional and holistic remedies. Many of the practitioners listed there have websites that explain the focus of their practice. Make sure that you check a few different areas of concern, such as fatigue and bio identical hormone replacement, so that you can review as many practitioners as possible. You may need to find more than one practitioner to address all of your concerns.
If you are interested in a natural approach to wellness, you might want to visit the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) website.
If you are interested in conventional and holistic approaches, make sure that the naturopath you are considering is allowed to prescribe medications in your state.
